Picnic in the Alliums

Imagine having an entire allium field to yourself. Now imagine in the middle of the sea of alliums. We offer two types of experiences – catered with pastry box and bring-your-own. This is a one-of-a-kind experience with very limited availability.

Dates and Times

We are planning to have this available for 2-3 weeks in May (weather dependent). The exact dates/times will be updated once we have a better idea of when the alliums will be blooming.  We cannot guarantee the number of allium blooms due to the weather and effects of mother nature.

We will share this information on our social media channels.  

Costs

Pastries in the Aliums ticket: The cost will be $65+tax per person.  Each person will receive a custom handpicked pastry box with 5 pastries from 5 different local pastry shops and a mini bottle of sparkling cider. (We cannot accommodate any special requests for food allergies.)

We will have a Bluetooth speaker for you to use, an umbrella to hopefully provide you some shade, and a selfie stick for pictures.

Bring Your Own Picnic – Picnic in the Alliums ticket: The cost will be $35+tax per person.  

This is a private event. You and your party will have the allium field to yourselves for an hour and half.  We will have a Bluetooth speaker for you to use, an umbrella to hopefully provide you some shade, and a selfie stick for pictures.

The minimum number of people per time slot is 2 with a max of 8. 

**ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  This is our most popular event on the farm and it books out quickly. We can’t offer refunds. Especially, when its a last minute notice. If you are unable to attend, please reach out to see if we can reschedule you for another date/time. If you can’t make it, we do ask that you let us know not to expect you.

If we determine there is inclement weather affecting your picnic, you will be provided the opportunity to rebook at a future date, if available. Otherwise, you will receive a partial refund (minus processing fees). If you booked a catered picnic, we order the boxes weeks in advance, so we can’t issue a refund on those. You can still come by to pick up your boxes.

*We cannot guarantee the quantity of blooms because we are subject to the weather. In the past, we have had last frosts, no spring rain, historical high temperatures, etc. which all affect how the flowers will continue to grow and bloom. We are doing are very best to predict the dates for the most flowers.  We can guarantee a private, beautiful, and peaceful setting for you to enjoy nature and escape your busy schedule.*

If we determine there is inclement weather affecting your pastry picnic, you will be provided the pastry box to enjoy at home as well as a 50% refund.

What to bring during your visit to the farm

First and foremost, bring OFF! Our property lines the Bear River Canal, so there are mosquitoes. 

Sunscreen! We also recommend wearing a hat, as the allium field is in full sun.  We do provide an umbrella which will provide some shade depending on the time of day.

Expectations and rules for the farm

DO NOT walk in the allium field.

DO NOT pick the alliums.

Please arrive no earlier than 10 mins and leave promptly at the end of your time. 

Be respectful to the picnic space, the farm, and the flowers.

DO NOT move any of the picnic furniture including the umbrella.

Maintain your trash so it does not blow away.

The ground is rough and uneven in areas, so be aware, watch your step, and wear closed toe shoes.

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs on the farm. As much as we LOVE dogs, not everyone feels the same. We want this experience to be enjoyable for everyone. 

*Failure to follow these rules, could result in being asked to leave the farm and a refund will not be given.*

Parents of little ones:

We LOVE children, but please keep a watchful eye on them. Please do not allow them to pick and pull on the alliums or leave the picnic area (DO NOT walk in the allium field).

We reserve the right to charge additional fees for any damage caused by children. 

A gentle reminder, our farm is a peaceful place for all. Unruly children and their parents may be asked to leave. 

Professional Photography

We are offering scheduled 1 hour sessions from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  These are $75 per hour and can be booked seasonally in April for May photoshoots.
